Pre-heat your oven to 350°.
Grease a 11 ½ by 12 ½ glass baking pan. I used my @crystaliausa pan and it worked wonders!
Cream 1 cup sugar with 1/2 cup sweet vanilla olive oil for a minute or until thoroughly combined. Add the eggs, one at a time then add your 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 cup water.
Whisk in your dry ingredients, and carefully transfer your cake batter into your well greased 11 ½ by 12 ½ glass pan.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the center springs back when gently touched. Take it out of the oven and let it finish baking in your pan as it cools.
Rating this 7.5 out of 10, honestly kind of shocked! Olive oil cake for the win.
Prepared using the same recipe as above, but after the cake has cooled poke 9 holes in the cake evenly distributed. Pour your jar of dulce de leche into the holes and create a thin layer of Dulce de leche across the entire top of the cake. Then top with cream cheese frosting and a drizzle of dulce de leche. Enjoy!!
Additional Ingredients needed:
1 Jar of San Ignacio Dulce de Leche
1 tub of Cream Cheese Frosting
